Fashion week competition
Biggest fashion event in New Zealand: Enter now and stand a chance
to win one of five double passes.
From City Scene, published on 6 September, 2009.
Organisers of the biggest fashion event on the New Zealand
calendar are promising a full schedule for the ninth year of
Air New Zealand
Fashion Week being held at the Viaduct Harbour this month.
The collections will run from 21 to 25 September showcasing
the autumn/winter 2010 collections of some of New Zealand's top and emerging
designers and a number of international designers, including the new fashion
line by Richie Rich, featuring Pamela Anderson.
As the epicentre of New Zealand's dynamic fashion industry,
Auckland is well-placed to host Air New Zealand Fashion Week - and Auckland City
Council has been a firm supporter of the event since its inception.
This partnership is our way of recognising the important
role this week plays in the country's fashion industry, and the economic and
creative role this industry plays. Over a third of New Zealand's clothing stores
can be found in the Auckland region.
Local fashion lovers will get the chance to experience the
glamour of fashion week at Air New Zealand Fashion WEEKEND, kicking off at 6pm
on Friday, 25 September. The party continues late into the night before a full
day of entertainment on Saturday, 26 September, including designer selection
shows by some of our country's top designers and the ever-popular New Zealand
Herald Designer Garage Sale, featuring bargains from some of the top names in
fashion.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased from iTICKET.
Visit Air New Zealand Fashion Week for more information.
City Scene readers have the chance to be in to win one of
five double tickets to a designer selection show, including access into Fashion
