News in brief: Creative forum

The council is supporting "Survive and Thrive", an expo
that allows businesses and people in the creative sector to network and hear
from industry experts on a range of topics including business opportunities
involving Rugby World Cup 2011.
The event will take place on Monday, 9
November at TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, 770 Great South Road, Manukau.
Entry is free, but registration is essential. Register by emailing
margaret.lewis@thebigidea.co.nz by this Thursday, 5 November with prospective
attendees' names, email addresses, creative disciplines and whether lunch is
required.
