Auckland Art Gallery is serving up a sumptuous visual feast
of artistic flavours and textures with its new summer exhibition -
Taste: Food
and Feasting in Art.
The exhibition - which reveals the central, yet changing,
place of food in cultures - opened yesterday (21 November) and features work
from a variety of artists including Andy Warhol, Marti Friedlander and Robin
White.
The exhibition runs until 14 February 2010 at the gallery
on the corner of Wellesley and Lorne streets. Admission costs: adult $7,
concession $5, family pass $15, under 5s free.
