Proposed road closures

The intersection of Richardson Road and Hendon Avenue, Owairaka, between 7pm
and 6am on two nights between Sunday, 27 and Thursday, 31 January, or between
Sunday, 3 and Thursday, 7 February. This closure is required for the
rehabilitation and resurfacing of this intersection.
A traffic management plan will be in place, including
detours, and staff will be onsite to assist traffic. For more information, phone

Renown Avenue, Greenlane, between either Monday, 28 and
Thursday, 31 January or between Thursday, 31 January and Monday, 4 February.
This closure will allow the installation of speed tables.
Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detour.
Residents will have access as construction activities allow. For more

Kepa Road (westbound/city traffic, between Patterson Avenue
and Dudley Road), Mission Bay, between 10am and 4pm on Monday, 28 January. This
closure allows work on Kepa Road to be conducted safely and efficiently. (Rain
dates: Tuesday, 29 January or Tuesday, 12 February.)
Full detours and barricades will be in place. Pedestrians

The intersection of Atarangi Road and Great South Road,
Greenlane, between 7am on Tuesday, 29 January and 7pm on Friday, 29 February.
This closure will enable the installation of services as part of Project
Greenlane.
Barricades and detour signs will direct traffic and
pedestrians safely around the work zone. For more information, phone Paul Norris

St Martins Lane, Grafton, between 6am and 6pm on Saturday,
2, 9 and 16 February, and between 8am and 6pm on Sunday, 3, 10 and 17 February.
These closures will allow a tower crane to be erected. Barricades, detours and
marshals will be in place to direct pedestrians and traffic safely around the
work zone. Residents and emergency vehicles will still be given access. For more

Ferndale Road (between Ellerslie Panmure Highway and Motu
Place), Mt Wellington, between 8am on Monday, 4 February and 5.30am on Tuesday,
5 February. This closure will allow the safe resealing of the road. (Rain dates:
Tuesday, 5 February or Tuesday, 19 February.) Resident access will be maintained

Bullock Track, Western Springs, between 8am and 11pm on
Wednesday, 6 February
for Groove in the Park at the Western Springs Stadium.
The Strand (between Third and Fourth avenues), Onetangi,
will be closed from 9am
to 5pm on Wednesday 6 February 2008 (rain date Sunday, 9 March 2008) for the
Onetangi Beach Races.
Hamer Street, Brigham Street and Jellicoe Street (between
Beaumont and Daldy streets), central city, between 5.30pm and 7.45pm on
Thursday, 7 February for the Cyco Cycle Criterium Series.
The end of Pt Chevalier Road (from the gate entrance to
Coyle Park through to the
car parking area), Pt Chevalier, between 10am and 7pm on Sunday, 10 February
2008
