Panmure footbridge

The Panmure rail footbridge (between Ireland Road and William Harvey Place, off Mt Wellington Highway) will close for approximately 12 weeks from Tuesday, 15 April for upgrading.

Planned improvements include new lights, deck and railings, tress, paving, and other work to allow better visibility and safety.

There will also be new paving and fencing on the William Harvey side of the bridge. During the work, there will be detours in place along Ellerslie-Panmure and Mt Wellington highways.
