Proposed road closures

The intersection of Great North Road and St Jude Street, Avondale, from 6pm to 6am on two nights between Sunday, 4 May and Thursday, 15 May. (Rain dates: between Sunday, 18 May and Thursday, 29 May.) The intersection will also be partially closed between noon and 6pm on Sunday, 4 May and Thursday, 15 May. This closure will allow for road rehabilitation and resurfacing.

Mount Street, central city, between 9am and 3.30pm on Saturday, 10 May. (Rain date: Sunday, 11 May.)

Barricades, detour signs and marshals will be in place to direct pedestrians and vehicles safely around the work zone. Residents and emergency vehicles will be given access. For more information, phone Quality Traffic Services on 820 3333 or Stuart of Reclad Solutions on 021 530 233.

May Road (between Gifford and Memorial avenues), Mt Roskill, nightly between 8pm and 6am from Monday, 12 May to Friday, 16 May for work on May Road bridge. (Rain dates: Sunday, 18 May to Friday, 30 May.)

Wingate Street (between Great North Road and Larch Street), Avondale, between 8pm on Sunday, 12 May and 6am on Monday, 9 June for drainage installation and reconstruction work. (Rain dates: Monday, 9 June to Friday, 20 June.)

Wolfe Street (between Federal and Albert streets), central city, between 6am and 4pm on Saturday, 17 May. This closure will enable NZ Crane Group Ltd to safely lift materials to a building. (Rain date: Sunday, 18 May.)

Patteson Avenue (between Tamaki Drive and Marau Crescent), Mission Bay, between 6am and 9am on Sunday, 18 May for the Auckland Secondary Schools Cycling Time Trials.
