Proposed road closures

Carlton Gore Road (in the eastbound direction between Glasgow Terrace and Park Road), Grafton, between Monday, 16 June and Saturday, 12 July. (Rain dates: Saturday, 12 July to Saturday, 2 August.) This closure is for stormwater and sewer separation work.

Great South Road (between Vesty Drive and Portage Road), Otahuhu, between Sunday, 8 June and Thursday, 19 June from 6pm to 6am on Sundays and 7pm to 6am Mondays to Thursdays. (Rain dates: Sunday, 22 June and Thursday, 26 June.) These closures are required for the rehabilitation and resurfacing of this section of Great South Road.

A traffic management plan will be in place, including detours, and staff will be onsite to assist traffic and residents. For more information, phone Fariz Rahman of Fulton Hogan Ltd on 579 6187.

Mahuhu Crescent and Te Taou Crescent, central city, between 6pm on Saturday, 28 June to 5am on Sunday 29 June for the Deep Hard N Funky event at Vector Arena. Tangihua Street (between Beach Road and Quay Street), central city, will also be closed post event for approximately 20 minutes to help with crowd dispersal.
