Proposed road closures

The northbound lanes of Pah Road (between Manukau Road and
Torrance Street), Royal Oak, at the following times:
- between 8am on Sunday, 12 October and 5am on Monday, 13
October
- between 8am on Sunday, 19 October and 5am on Monday, 20
October
- between 8am on Sunday, 2 November and 5am on Monday, 20
November
- between 7pm and 5am on two nights from Monday, 3 to
Thursday, 6 November.
These closures are to allow rehabilitation and resurfacing
of Pah Road. (Rain dates: selected times between Sunday, 9 and Thursday, 27
November.) A traffic management plan will be in place, including detours, and
staff will be on site to assist traffic and residents.

Mahuhu Crescent and Te Taou Crescent, central city, between
6pm and 11pm on Monday, 27 and Tuesday, 28 October for the Rihanna and Chris
Brown concerts at Vector Arena. Tangihua Street (between Beach Road and Quay
Street), central city, will also be closed post event for approximately 20
minutes to help with crowd dispersal. These closures apply to all except
authorised and emergency vehicles.

Cliff Road and Springcombe Road (between 23 Springcombe
Road and 59 Cliff Road), St Heliers, between now and Saturday, 20 December to
stabilise the cliff area. A traffic management plan is in place, including
detours, and staff will be onsite to assist traffic and residents.

The Eastern Viaduct car park, central city, will be closed
between 5pm on Wednesday, 15 October and 7am on Tuesday, 21 October 2008 for the Diwali Festival of Lights. This closure applies to all except authorised and
emergency vehicles.

Swanson Street, central city, between 7am on Saturday, 11
October and 7pm on Sunday, 12 October, and also between 7am on Saturday, 18
October and 7pm on Sunday, 19 October for drainage work and road reconstruction
associated with the St Patricks Square upgrade. Motorists are advised to follow
the signposted detours. Pedestrian access will be available.
