Road closures

The Eastern Viaduct car park, central city, will be closed between 5pm on Wednesday, 15 October and 7am on Tuesday, 21 October for the Diwali Festival of Lights. This closure applies to all except authorised and emergency vehicles.

Mahuhu Crescent and Te Taou Crescent, central city, between 6pm and 11pm on Monday, 27 and Tuesday, 28 October for the Rihanna and Chris Brown concerts at Vector Arena. Tangihua Street (between Beach Road and Quay Street), central city, will also be closed post-event for approximately 20 minutes to help with crowd dispersal. These closures apply to all except authorised and emergency vehicles.

Cliff Road and Springcombe Road (between 23 Springcombe Road and 59 Cliff Road), St Heliers, between now and Saturday, 20 December to stabilise the cliff area. A traffic management plan is in place, including detours, and staff will be onsite to assist traffic and residents.
