Road closures
From City Scene, published on 23 November 2008
Kingston Street (between Federal and Albert streets),
central city, between 6am and 4pm on Saturday, 29 November to allow lifting of
materials for maintenance of the District Court building. Barricades, detours
and marshals will direct traffic and pedestrians safely around the work zone.

The following road closures apply to all except authorised
and emergency vehicles.

Hamer Street, Brigham Street and Jellicoe Street (between
Beaumont Street and Daldy streets), central city, between 5.30pm and 7.45pm on
Thursday, 4 December for the Cyco Cycle Criterium Series.
Mahuhu Crescent and Te Taou Crescent, central city, between
6pm and 11pm on the following dates for the listed events at Vector Arena:
- Saturday, 6 December for the Alicia Keys concert
- Monday, 8 and Tuesday, 9 December for the Kylie Minogue
concerts.
Tangihua Street, central city, will also be closed for
about 20 mintues at the end of these events to help with crowd dispersal.
Pilkington Road (between Pleasant View and Queens roads)
and Queens Road (from Jellicoe Road up to and including the Tripoli Road
roundabout), Panmure, between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday, 6 December for
the Panmure Santa Parade, festival and market day.
Blockhouse Bay Road (from Exminster Street to Gill
Crescent/Gillfillan Street) and Exminster Street (from the western entrance to
Windermere Crescent to Blockhouse Bay Road), Blockhouse Bay, between 9am and 2pm
on Saturday, 6 December for the Blockhouse Bay Santa Parade and street party.
Beasley Avenue, Penrose, at the following times for the
listed events at Mt Smart Stadium:
- between 8am and 4pm on Friday, 5 December for the LA
Galaxy and Oceania All Stars schools' training day (this event is closed to the
public)
- between 8am and 11pm on Saturday, 6 December for the LA
Galaxy v Oceania All Stars exhibition match.
O'Rorke Road, Penrose, will also be closed between 9pm and
11pm on Saturday, 6 December.
