Auckland City Council has received an application for
resource consent under the Resource Management Act 1991 for 121A-123 Mt
Wellington Highway and 24-26 Reilly Place, Mt Wellington. You can make a

Details
The applicant proposes to construct a new 370m2 (240 seat)
auditorium addition to the existing church hall, with 59 associated car-parking
spaces. The proposal involves the removal of two residential dwellings on
adjacent sites and the use of those properties for the proposal.
The site is zoned Residential 6a and the proposal requires
resource consent for a number of matters under the district plan, including:
- the development of church buildings in the Residential 6a
zone
- an infringement of the maximum height limit
- a shortfall of parking
- earthworks
- shortfall of landscape area
- removal of trees
- development within a Type A flood plain area.
Overall the proposal requires consent as a discretionary
activity.
