Proposed road closures

Kingston Street (between Federal and Albert streets), central city, between 6am and 4pm on Saturday, 24 January to lift structural steel to a nearby site. (Rain date: Sunday, 25 January.) Barricades, detours and marshals will be direct pedestrians and traffic safely around the work zone. The Eastern Viaduct car park, central city, between 5pm on Thursday, 22 January and 6pm Tuesday, 27 January for Auckland Anniversary Weekend events and preparation. This closure applies to all except authorised and emergency vehicles. For more information, phone Auckland City Council

Shortland Street (between Jean Batten Place and Queen Street), central city, between 4am and 7am on Monday, 5 and Tuesday, 6 January to allow structural steel to be safely unloaded to a nearby site. (Rain dates: from Wednesday, 7 to Friday, 9 January.) Barricades, detours and marshals will direct pedestrians and traffic safely around the work zone. Park Avenue (between Park and Carlton Gore roads), Grafton, between Tuesday, 13 January and Sunday, 29 March for stormwater and sewer separation work. Morningside Drive (from New North Road to Rossmay Terrace), Mt Albert, between 6am on Friday, 2 January and 7pm on Monday, 5 January due to work being done on the level railway crossing.
