Proposed road closures

Falcon Street (between Tilden and Akaroa streets), Parnell, between 9am and 4pm on Monday, 9 February to allow the safe lifting of material to a nearby site. (Rain dates: Tuesday, 10 and Sunday, 15 February). Barricades, detours and marshals will direct pedestrians and traffic safely around the work zone. Residents and emergency vehicles will be given access.

Kingston Street (between Federal and Albert streets), central city, between 6am and 4pm on Saturday, 14 February (Rain date: Sunday, 15 February). This closure will enable NZ Crane Group Ltd to safely lift materials to a nearby site. Barricades, detours and marshals will direct pedestrians and traffic safely around the work zone.

Mahuhu Crescent and Te Taou Crescent, central city, between 6pm and 11pm from Saturday, 28 February to Monday, 2 March for the Billy Connolly shows at Vector Arena. Tangihua Street (between Beach Road and Quay Street) will also be closed for about 20 minutes at the end of the concert to help with crowd dispersal.

Tamaki Drive (between Atkin Avenue and Marau Crescent), Mission Bay, between 4pm and midnight on Saturday, 28 February and Patteson Avenue (between Tamaki Drive and Marau Crescent), Mission Bay, between 3pm and midnight on the same date for the Mission Bay Jazz and Blues Streetfest. (Rain dates: Sunday, 1 March.)

O'Rorke Road, Penrose, between 9pm and midnight on Friday, 20 February and Beasley Avenue, Penrose, between 6pm and midnight on the same date for the Iron Maiden concert at Mt Smart Stadium.

Hamer Street, Brigham Street and Jellicoe Street (between Beaumont and Daldy streets), central city, between 5.30pm and 7.45pm on Thursday, 19 February for the Cyco Cycle Criterium Series.

Watene Crescent and Reihana Street (between Tamaki Drive and Pahoa Street), Orakei, between 6am and 11.30am on Sunday, 22 February for the Cathay Pacific half-marathon and 11km walk.
