Tender for Waiheke Island waste services

Tender documents may be obtained from Auckland City
Council's Environmental and Utility Management Group, located on the first floor
of the Bledisloe Building, 24 Wellesley Street.
The work covers:
- the operation and redevelopment of the
Waiheke Transfer
Station on a "build, own, operate, transfer" basis for the receival, processing
and transport of recyclables, and municipal waste off island
- the weekly collection of municipal solid waste by either
60-litre refuse bags, or 140-litre mobile garbage bins
- the collection of recyclable material
by either by weekly bags from kerbside,
or fortnightly from 240-litre mobile recycling bins.
Tenders close at 2pm on Monday, 30 March 2009 with
Environmental and Utility Management group at the above address.
