Central Connector

The following central city streets will be closed at the listed times to allow work on the Central Connector project. (Rain dates: The next available times, including Thursday, 2 to Wednesday, 8 April; Thursday, 9 to Wednesday, 15 April; or Thursday, 16 to Wednesday, 22 April.)

• Citybound lanes along Symonds Street (between Wellesley Street and Grafton Road) between 7pm and 6am on the nights of Thursday, 26; Monday, 30; and Tuesday, 31 March, and between 9am
  and 3.30pm on Friday, 27 March.
• Symonds Street (between Wellesley Street and Grafton Road) between 7pm on Friday, 27 March and 6am on Monday, 30 March.
• Alfred Street and Grafton Road (between the SH16 onramp and Symonds Street) between 1am and 5am from Monday, 30 March to Wednesday, 1 April. Road closures will not be in place at the same time.

Traffic management plans will be in place, including detours, and staff will be onsite to assist motorists. Emergency vehicles will be given access at all times.
