Decisions on submissions to the Proposed Hauraki Gulf
Islands District Plan 2006
At its meeting on 23 April 2009 the council made its
decisions on submissions and further submissions received to the proposed
Hauraki Gulf islands district plan. The district plan is deemed to have been
amended in accordance with these decisions from 4 May 2009.
The district plan, as amended by decisions, can be
viewed free of charge online or during business
hours at:
- level 11, Civic Administration Building, 1 Greys Avenue,
central city
- the reference section of the Central City Library, 44-46
Lorne Street, central city
- Great Barrier Island service centre, Claris, Great
Barrier Island
- Waiheke service centre, 10 Belgium Street, Ostend,
Waiheke Island
- Waiheke Community Library, Korora Road, Waiheke Island.
Copies of the council's decision reports can also be viewed
at those locations. You can order CDs with copies of all decision reports at the
above address or by phoning the lead notification specialist.
The council has extended the period for submitters to lodge
any appeal to the Environment Court to within 60 working days of service of
notice of the decision of the council.
