Own Your Own pensioner units

The Own Your Own scheme, operated by Auckland City Council, allows qualifying superannuitants to purchase the council-owned units at a discount, which is normally 80 per cent of the market value.

There are currently one-to-two-bedroom units available at the following locations:

  • 7 Rowlands Avenue, Mt Wellington
  • 1, 3, 5 and 19 Coyle Street, Sandringham
  • 113 Trafalgar Street, Onehunga.

The units are only available to buyers who are:

  • superannunitants
  • aged 65 or over
  • able to buy without raising mortgage finance.
