Sale of Own Your Own pensioner units

The Own Your Own scheme operated by the Auckland City Council, allows qualifying superannuitants to purchase the council-owned units at a discount, which is normally 80 per cent of the market value.

The council currently has one-to-two-bedroom units available at the following locations:

• 7 Rowlands Avenue, Sylvia Park
• 19 Coyle Street, Sandringham.

The units are only available to buyers who are:

• superannunitants
• aged 65 or over
• able to buy without raising mortgage finance.
