Plan modification 34 - Hauraki Gulf Marine Park Act 2000

The summary of decisions requested by submitters and copies of the submissions in respect of plan modification 34 are now available for public inspection. Anybody can make a further submission on a plan modification. This plan modification was first advertised in City Scene on Sunday, 21 June 2009.

Proposed Plan Modification 34 seeks changes to the operative district plan to ensure adequate recognition is given to the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park Act 2000 and the council's responsibility to have regard to it when considering resource consent applications for the Hauraki Gulf, its islands, and catchments.

The summary of decisions requested and submissions may be viewed free of charge at the District plan - central area section or during business hours at:

Making a further submission

You can make a further submission on this plan modification. Further submission forms can be printed or are available from the places listed above and at all community libraries.

You can lodge your further submission:

• by post to Auckland City Council, Private Bag 92516 Wellesley Street, Auckland 1141 (attention: manager city planning)
• online (conditions apply)
• at level 10 of the Civic Administration Building, 1 Greys Avenue, central city.
