Drop off your household hazardous waste

The HazMobile will take your household hazardous waste between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, 17 October at Western Springs (public car park, Motions Road, near zoo entrance). Household hazardous waste includes:

• household chemicals such as cleaners, disinfectants, polishes and pool chemicals
• garden chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers
• automotive products such as waste oil, petrol, diesel and brake fluid
• DIY products such as solvents, glues and wood preservatives
• fluorescent tubes and energy-saving light bulbs
• 9kg LPG cylinders
• all types of batteries
• mobile phones.

The HazMobile will not take paint. Please use the takeback schemes at either Resene Colorshops or PlaceMakers.
