Road closures

Gavin Street, Penrose, between 7pm and 5am on the nights between Thursday, 8 October and Sunday, 18 October to carry out pavement strengthening and surfacing works. (Rain dates: next available night.) Detours will be in place.

Glanville Terrace (between Takutai Street and Lichfield Road), Parnell, between 7am and noon on Saturday, 17 October to enable a palm tree to be safely lifted to 10 Glanville Terrace. (Rain date: Saturday, 31 October.) Barricades, detours and marshals will be on site to direct pedestrians and traffic safely around the work zone. Residents will still be given access at all times.

Cricket Avenue (between Walters Road and Reimers Avenue) and Raleigh Street (between Kowhai Street and Cricket Avenue), Mt Eden, between 12.15pm and 5pm on Sunday, 18 October for the Auckland vs Counties Manukau match at Eden Park. Walters Road (between Sandringham Road and Kowhai Street) may also be closed for safety purposes at the same time. This closure applies to all except authorised and emergency vehicles.
