Own Your Own pensioner units

The Own Your Own scheme, operated by the Auckland City Council, allows qualifying superannuitants to purchase council-owned units at a discount, which is normally 80 per cent of the market value.

There are currently one-to-two-bedroom units available at the following locations:

  • 7 Rowlands Avenue, Sylvia Park
  • 19 Coyle Street, Sandringham
  • 14 New Windsor Road, Avondale.

The units are only available to buyers who are superannuitants aged 65 or over who are able to buy without raising mortgage finance.
