Art therapy
Art therapy
In this course you will enter into the gentle yet powerful world of Art
Therapy. In a stimulating, fun and supportive group environment, you will
creatively explore and express aspects of yourself and your life.
You will be using a range of art materials such as collage, paints, pastels
and clay. Art Therapy differs from traditional art in that the emphasis is on
the process of creating rather than on the end product - so the focus is on your
creative journey and the meaning you make of your creations.
All materials included. This class can be on-going. No previous art
experience required.
Maximum enrolment is 8.

Workshop: Art therapy weekend workshop
This is a non-directive workspace designed for creative people to discover
and explore their 'stories' through art materials using paint, pastels and clay.
A physical, safe space is created to make and talk about images and their
meaning.
As James Hillman said of his hope for therapy, a place of... 'lifting
repression and bringing to consciousness... of building of doorways, opening
conduits and making channels, like a giant bypass operation, throwing in all
kinds of new tubing so that things flow into each other.'
This course is fun, positive and energetic. It challenges both your
creativity and your perceptions. All materials included. This class can be
on-going.
Maximum enrolment is 8.
