Pots with patterns and textures

Students will explore the making of extraordinary vessels of their own designs.

Clay slab, coil and pinch pot techniques will be used to put creative ideas into shape. A pottery wheel is available to enjoy the process of throwing pots.

There will be demonstrations of a variety of decorative techniques, including surface carving and the use of slips, to enhance the surface of the vessels. The process of glazing and stacking the kiln is also part of the pottery studio experience.

Maximum enrolment is 8.
