Workshop: "Setting the Scene" - a collage (assemblage) workshop

In this workshop students will explore the process of collage through the use of printed images, paint, and found objects and will tell a story, or create a visual theme. A selection of printed images will be available, but students are encouraged to bring their own, plus any found objects they'd like to incorporate.

During the workshop the tutor will demonstrate the techniques, principles and possibilities of collage including colour, composition and depth of field. Students will be given a wood-backed canvas on which to work and paint, glue and brushes will be provided.

Thomas Pound has an extensive background in set design, photography, film, and collage.

Maximum enrolment is 12.
