Flax weaving
Students will be taught how to prepare, cut, strip, boil and dye flax for the
weaving of kete, mats and small sculptural pieces. For keen students the art of
piu piu preparation will also be taught.
Students need to bring six leaves of flax
on the first session, some extra flax and all other equipment will be supplied.
Maximum enrolment is 8.
