Workshop: Open workshop
Students will work on their own projects with the tutor while exploring their
own interests. References will be made to art history, the environment and to personal
experience. Students can choose to work in any discipline including painting, sculpture,
and drawing.
Emphasis is on individual development and experimentation. Students will enjoy
one-to-one tuition in a fun and stimulating environment. All materials included
in course fee.
Maximum enrolment is 8.
Please note: Teenage classes are designed specifically for high-school students'
year 9 and above.

holiday workshops
Week one: Monday 6 July to Friday 10 July
Workshop: Black and white photography workshop
A comprehensive course for beginners or those with some experience who wish to
extend their skills or work on specific projects. The course will accommodate the
individual interests and needs of the student. All areas of black and white photography
will be explored including camera handling, film processing, printing and alternative
approaches to image making in the darkroom.
Students will need to have access to their own 35mm manual SLR camera. Maximum
enrolment is 7.
Teenage workshop - Artist's books
In this four-day workshop, students will build their own individual artists'
books, working around the theme of identity. The workshop will incorporate innovative
modes of drawing, collage, printmaking, painting, and photography, and draw on artist
models who have explored identity. The emphasis will be on individual ideas, development,
and experimentation. Maximum enrolment is 10.
Please note: teenage classes are for high-school students' year 9 and above.
