Past projects on Waiheke Island

RAW local arts project

Students aged 14-16 years created three sculptures (a pyramid, a monster and a hawk) with the help of artist Adrienne Tait. These were attached to wooden rafts and floated out onto the Okahuiti Stream at Ostend. A story called Soulcatcher of Okahuiti was written and performed on the night they were presented to the public. The project was supported by locals including a sculptor, boat builder, historian and fiction writer.
