The ASB Classic is the country's richest professional women's sporting event.

Don't miss the sunshine, strawberries, action, glamour and seeing some of the biggest names in the game compete in the 2010 event.

The 2010 ASB Classic featuring the Kia Motors Singles and Doubles scored an early coup with confirmation that the world's number one doubles team, Zimbabwe's Cara Black and American Liezel Huber confirmed they will play in Auckland in January.

Russian Elena Vesnina, a popular finalist from the 2009 ASB Classic has also confirmed her return for January's tournament.

Held in the first week of the international tour calendar, the ASB Classic directly precedes the Grand Slam Australian Open.

Auckland is proud to host this event, which profiles tennis at its highest level and promotes Auckland internationally as an outdoor active, sporting and tourist destination.
