Road closures

The following roads will be closed to all traffic except for residents' vehicles, taxis before the match, emergency services and permit holders. However, all residents in these streets will be able to access their properties.

  • Cricket Avenue
  • Walters Road from Kowhai Street to Sandringham Road
  • Bellwood Avenue from Marlborough Street to Cricket Avenue

Mt Eden and Sandringham residents

Residents who live in the vicinity of Eden Park will still be able to access their homes, even if roads are closed.

Those who live on Reimers Avenue, Cricket Avenue, Walters Road, Bellwood Avenue and Raleigh Street will be issued with permits as is usual with Eden Park games.

If Sandringham Road is closed, residents who live on this road or access their properties via this road simply need to inform traffic wardens of this fact and they will be allowed to pass through.

Those who regularly travel past Eden Park are advised to avoid the area on 2 August so as not to add to the expected traffic congestion.Top
