About the event
Marine traffic comes to a halt as New Zealand's largest single ocean swim hits Auckland's shores.
Over 1400 swimmers will battle it out across Waitemata Harbour in the shadows of Auckland Harbour Bridge.
This event is the first of six happening around the country in the Sovereign New Zealand ocean swim series.
The course starts in Quinton Park, Bayswater and finishes on the northern side of Te Wero Island, Viaduct Harbour
- also known as the America's Cup Village.
Take the dive for the opportunity to swim the harbour and be part of the action.
