About the programme
For 17 years, Auckland City Council has proudly been providing Music in Parks, a series of free music and film events in our city's stunning parks and reserves.
The 2010 programme runs from January to March and features 38 concerts showcasing the best musical talent that Auckland has to offer.
Music in Parks is made up of four different series, each with its own unique flavour.
Summer Sounds features multiple billings of award winning artists offering everything from rock to reggae.
The Culture Garden presents inspiring niche musical forms that promise to inspire.
Jazz at the Rotunda stages some of Auckland's finest jazz musicians.
Movies in Parks screens a host of classic Kiwi flicks with pre-movie sounds performed by some of Auckland's hottest up and coming bands.
It's set to be an amazing summer of live, free music for everyone.
