About the event
Onehunga celebrates its community spirit at the Onehunga Festival '09.
Bring the whole family along to the free festival at Onehunga Bay Reserve where there will plenty of things to see and do, including food and craft stalls, a waterslide, rock-climbing wall, information displays and on-water activities including "have-a-go" waka ama (outrigger canoes).
There will be entertainment from local dancers and musicians, as well as a performance from hip hop artist, Scribe.
