Site plan

As an activity organiser, you are required to provide us with a plan of the site or sites. This plan needs to include details of all equipment associated with the activity.

Below is an example of a detailed site plan. This is intended as a guide and is not the only format that will be accepted.

You should consider the following things when preparing your site plan. This is not a definitive list and is intended as a guide.

Access

  • entrances and exits
  • vehicle access paths
  • emergency access routes
  • pedestrian routes
  • parking

Temporary structures

  • stage location
  • seating
  • food and liquor outlets
  • safety fencing

Amenities

  • rest areas
  • toilets
  • water outlets
  • rubbish bins
  • phones
  • information centre
  • media centre
  • centre for emergency services
  • communication centre

First aid

  • first aid posts
  • lost children
  • security and police locations.
