About the event
Are you brave, strong, fearless or just plain crazy?
If so, we want you to put on your superhero costume and get down to Mission Bay for Auckland City Council's annual Winter Splash event.
The swim starts at 10.30am - with prizes for best male and female costumes - and there will be entertainment, activities and a sausage sizzle until noon.
Winter Splash is a zero-waste event, so please do your superhero bit for the environment and take your rubbish home with you.
