About the event

Christmas in the city.

Be prepared to be entertained and enchanted with a fantastic line up of Christmas celebrations in Auckland's BIG little city happening all the way up until Christmas Eve.

Auckland's iconic Farmers Santa on Whitcoulls Corner is back and looking good after a recent extreme makeover! Santa, who is located on one of the country's busiest intersections at Queen and Victoria streets - marks his big 5-0 birthday next year.

This year as you hit the central city with your Christmas shopping list, make sure you also look up high for acrobatic clowns, around street corners for angels, and keep an eye out for exploding volcanoes!

Local and international artists have been brought together to create a uniquely Auckland blend of vibrant street performances that will take over our city streets from 19 December until Christmas Eve 2009.
