Corporate park care
Volunteering within the community as a corporate group is a great way to show social and environmental responsibility and to provide staff with
opportunities to get to know their local community and fellow staff members. Auckland City Council welcomes corporate groups to their volunteer
programmes and provides opportunities for them to get involved in caring for our parks. Depending on the size, availability
and interests of the corporate group, the council can provide:
- one-off events: for groups who would like to take on one activity per year, or
- a program of events: for groups who would like to take on a regular schedule of volunteer activities
One-off corporate park care activity
For one-off events, corporate groups should register with the council by filling out the
online registration form.
Programme of corporate park care activities
The council has developed a partnership with Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (CVNZ) who specialise in managing and supervising
corporate volunteers. They work with the business community on essential conservation projects, providing all aspects of project management to make
the volunteer experience as accessible, safe and fun as possible.
If you would like to set up a programme of volunteer events as a corporate group, please visit the
Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (CVNZ) website and contact them either by phone or email.
