Greenlane Road, Epsom

About the park

This is a privately owned park available to the public and adjacent to the One Tree Hill Domain. Together they enclose some 220 hectares of Aucklands most striking landscape. Cornwall Park is owned by the Cornwall Park Trust.

John Logan Campbell, a Scottish adventurer, was one of Aucklands first settlers. He outlived all his contemporaries, a patriach with flowing white locks and beard known finally as "The Father of Auckland". In 1901, 11 years before his death, he gifted Cornwall Park to "the people of New Zealand". A statue of him is located on the intersection of Manukau Road and Campbell Crescent (opposite Kimberley Road).

You can view further information on the Cornwall Park website and the Coast to coast walkway which passes through the park.
