Closures

We try to avoid cancelling games or closing fields, but sometimes we must in order to prevent excessive damage to fields or to carry out essential field renovation work.

Weekend sport

In winter, we assess all our fields on Friday mornings, and advise Auckland Football Federation (AFF), Auckland Rugby League (ARL) and Auckland Rugby Union (ARU) how many hours sport they can put on each field by 2pm Friday. The codes then revise their draws and communicate the changes to their members.

• Auckland Rugby League >> click on 'Weekly draws, Results and standings', then click on 'Draw' and this will take you to the new mySport site where can you can register for automatic updates by text or e-mail.
• Auckland Rugby Union or phone their cancellation hotline. Phone: 815 4828.

In summer, cancellations are rare, and the decision is usually made on the day of play. Again, players are advised to contact the organisers of their game.

Mid-week sport

For evening training or games you can ring our information line. Phone: 379 2024 after 2pm to find out if your park is closed.
