Aotea Square

299 Queen Street, Auckland central
Aotea Square is well known as a place for civic activity, cultural and community events, celebrations, graduations and exhibitions. It is the home of Aotea Centre, Town Hall and the popular weekly Friday and Saturday markets.

TopBeresford Square

Pitt Street, Auckland central
Home to the well known bar and restaurant that was once an inner city public convenience. This is a venue that compliments the life that Karangahape Road is popular for.

Bouzaid Way

Between Fanshawe Street and Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Auckland central
This is a connecting pedestrian accessway between Fanshawe Street and Viaduct Harbour Avenue. It features a raised stone platform with 3M marker lights and the Denis O'Connor "Raupo wrap" sculpture. Located immediately opposite the lighter basin to the west, it links the city to the Viaduct Harbour area.

TopFreyberg Place

26 to 42 High Street, Auckland central
An open, light, paved space that features a fountain, gardens, and the Lord Freyberg sculpture. The square is in the heart of Auckland's high fashion precinct and surrounded by cafes, restaurants and designer boutiques. Popular at lunchtime.

Khartoum Place

34 Lorne Street CBD
Better known as a pedestrian link between Lorne and Kitchener Streets, this space in the heart of the Arts precinct. It features large shady trees, a fountain and tile work that is significant to the celebrations and acknowledgements of the Women's Suffrage Movement in New Zealand.

TopMarket Square

Market Place, Viaduct Harbour
An increasingly popular spot along the Viaduct Harbour area. It is in the vicinity of many bars and restaurants. Features paving, tall weather proof canopy, and seating.

Queen Elizabeth Square

7 Queen Street, Auckland central
This square is an entry to the Britomart Transport Centre and the start of Queen Street. It is in the vicinity of the Ferry Terminal. This transitory paved area features a Kauri forest and a fire boulder water feature.

TopSt Patricks Square

43 Wyndham Street, Auckland central
A paved square with gardens and cascading trees that provide shade in the summer. Situated in the inner city, it houses St Patricks Cathedral, and a fountain and pool. This is a popular lunch spot.

Takutai Square

44 to 50 Galway Street, Auckland central
Joins Te Ara Tahuhu walking street and contains a pop jet water feature and carved rocks. It is a popular lunch spot.

TopTe Wero

220 Quay St, Auckland central
This is a purpose built island which offers a prime location for events space. It is one of the best vantage points for on-water events. It features the heritage lifting bridge and a number of carvings that were installed as part of the America's Cup challenge. Includes marquee anchors installed for large events. Access is via Eastern Viaduct car park. There is no seating or toilets. This is a venue to come and soak up the Viaduct Harbour atmosphere.

Waitemata Plaza

119 Customs Street, Auckland central
A large open, paved area scattered with seating and public convenience. Features "Cytoplasm" kinetic artwork by Phil Price. It is a great place to walk and see the luxury yachts. Close to bars and restaurants.
