Real Waiheke walks are funded by Auckland City Council and are free.

Start point: Matiatia Beach, near the Kayak Shed
Date and time: 1pm, Sunday 11 January 2009 (rain or shine)
What to bring: Water, sturdy shoes you dont mind getting wet, togs, water, rain jacket or warm jumper
Fitness level: Average. Please note: this walk is not suitable for baby buggies or wheelchairs
Duration: 2½ hours walking, however have 3 hours spare for exploring and visiting vineyards.

Please protect our plants, wildlife and natural heritage:

  • remove rubbish
  • keeps streams and the sea clean
  • keep to the track (respect private property)
  • do not light fires
