Introduction

The ferry to Church Bay walk begins and ends at Matiatia Beach, near the ferry terminal on Waiheke Island. This walk features a variety of forest and coastal birdlife with stunning harbour views toward Auckland city.

Follow the coastline track along Matiatia and Church Bay. Feel free to pop into the vineyards on the way back to Matiatia via Atawhai Whenua Forest and Bird Reserve.
