Real Waiheke walks are funded by Auckland City Council and are free.

Start point: Corner of Third Avenue and Waiheke Road, Onetangi
What to bring: Sturdy shoes, snacks, water, rain jacket and warm jumper, money for the bus
Fitness level: Slightly above average as some parts of the track are muddy and slippery. This walk is not suitable for baby buggies or wheelchairs
Duration: 4 hours (plus allow extra time for bus travel)

Please protect our plants, wildlife and natural heritage:
  • remove rubbish
  • keeps streams and the sea clean
  • keep to the track (respect private property)
  • do not light fires
