Real Waiheke walks are funded by Auckland City Council and are free.

Start and end point: Western end of Oneroa Beach
What to bring: Sturdy shoes, water, rain jacket/warm jumper
Fitness level: Average, there are a few short steep sections, but you can take your time. The walk is not suitable for baby buggies or wheelchairs
Duration: Approximately two hours, but there are many places to stop and explore.

Please protect our plants, wildlife and natural heritage:

  • remove rubbish
  • keeps streams and the sea clean
  • keep to the track (respect private property)
  • do not light fires
  • please note: dogs are welcome on this walk. Click here or contact us for more information about dogs.
