Free event listing

We offer free listings on the events pages of this website and in City Scene, our publication of council news that is delivered weekly to households in the city.

If you would like your event to be listed, please complete a form with your event details:

• complete an online form, or
• download a form to return to us by mail/fax.

Events listed should involve visual or performing arts, or sports, entertainment, leisure, recreational or cultural activities.

City Scene lists events that take place in the week following its publication (each Sunday). The deadline is noon on Friday two weeks before City Scene is published. A good rule of thumb is to submit your listing at least 16 days before the date of your event.

You need to submit your event listings five working days before the event.

Events listed in City Scene must take place within Auckland city (as the newspaper is not delivered outside these boundaries). Community events and events sponsored by Auckland City Council take preference.

Due to space limitations we are unable to guarantee all event listings will appear in City Scene.
