A number of permits may be required for activities associated for your event. For activities being held in Auckland City public spaces, contact us. For those outside of Auckland city boundaries, contact the local council to find out if there are special permits or conditions associated with your event.

Auckland City can assist you in planning an event, activity or function, regardless of the scale. Auckland City has a variety of parks, streets, squares and facilities available for your activity. Events are an integral part of a vibrant city and Auckland City wants to ensure planning an event using Auckland city's public places is as easy as possible. We handle a diverse range of activities such as parades, protests, major concerts, film shoots, weddings, corporate functions, community events and more.

Auckland City assists organisers in the development and coordination of successful events, functions and activities. We provide contacts and liaison with a range of services such as the New Zealand Police.
