Locations and venues

We have a diverse range of locations and venues suitable for any event.

If you wish to hold your event in one of Auckland city's public spaces, you need to contact us. Public spaces can include:

• parks
• reserves
• streets
• squares
• community halls
• Auckland Zoo
• Auckland Art Gallery
• Marine Events Centre

We will assist you in selecting the appropriate venue and advise on what features that venue may offer e.g. access to power and water, playgrounds, toilets barbecues etc.

Fees may apply for the use of public space based on the scale and nature of your event.

Non Auckland City Council locations and venues

• Regional parks and beaches, as well as on water activities, contact the Auckland Regional Council.
• For organising events in Aotea Square, The Town Hall and the Aotea Centre you need to liaise with The Edge directly.
• Cornwall Park is administered by the Cornwall Trust Board. Contact them on (09) 630 8485.
